The village hall and playing fields has extensive, flexible facilities, central to which is the large hall and stage area. There is also a smaller hall/meeting room, kitchen, bar room and toilets. There is ample parking on site.

The playing fields can cater for any outdoor event and sports such as football and cricket, and are serviced by changing room and showers.

The village hall is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, meetings, dances, parties and all manner of gatherings and events large or small. It has wi-fi broadband throughout and IT, audio and visual facilities for hire.

Due to our rural location, we operate a strict No Fireworks policy.

Peopleton village is conveniently located in the heart of east Worcestershire in the district of Wychavon, close to the towns of Pershore, Evesham and Redditch, and 8 miles from the city of Worcester, and only a short journey from the M5.

In 2024, the Village Hall Trustees succesfully applied for funding to replace the external windows and doors. This project was part funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The project was completed in May 2024.

So what are we about? Here’s what our governance document says:

“The object of the charity is to provide or assist in the provision for the inhabitants of the parish of Peopleton and the neighbourhood thereof, facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for said inhabitants”

We provide the village hall and sports ground for the use of local people and those outside our parish. We manage the day to day running of the facilities, we hire them out, we maintain them, host our own events, do fundraising, and we provide this website. We hold our meetings the first Wednesday of each month, and elections to the Trust are carried out annually in May. Here are the current Members of the Trust.
