Thank you to everyone who came to see the performance of comedy Great Britons on Saturday night. It was one of three Live and Local performances we’ve hosted, which bring live performances to community venues across the country.
We are always looking for new ideas for different types of events. As well as helping to raise some funds to help us with running the hall, we want to provide opportunities for everyone in the village to get together and enjoy our hall (and usually the bar!). So let us know what events you would like us to hold. We’ve had requests for another Bingo night, so look out for the date for that soon.
Our next two events are our Peopleton Village Recreation Trust AGM on Wednesday 6th May and Peopleton Pony and Dog Show on Sunday 17th May. The Pony and Dog Show is our biggest event of the year and a real Peopleton tradition. It is only possible with the help of many volunteers, so please let us know if you are able to help out on the day.
