On Wednesday 15 May, the Parish Council have two meetings. At 7.00pm it is the Annual Parish Meeting. In this meeting the Parish Council report on their activities for the past 12 months and respond to questions and comments from parishioners. Following this meeting the Annual Parish Council meeting takes place. Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting as well. At this meeting, the chairman and vice chairman are elected and the accounts for the last year approved. The agenda for the first meeting is here and for the council meeting here.
On Thursday 30 May at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, the Peopleton Village Shop Association, the organisation who run The Pantry hold their AGM. There will be reports on the progress of the shop, the adoption of the accounts and the election of the Management Committee. Please come along and have your say about the shop and how it is run. Your ideas are always welcome.
