All villagers are invited to the Annual Parish Meeting. This is when the Parish Council and the County/District Councillor report on the last 12 months to the parishioners. Parishioners are welcome to ask questions and make comments. Please note that this meeting is in the third Wednesday of the month (rather than the second)..
The Annual Parish Council meeting takes place. Members of the public are welcome to attend this meeting as well. At this meeting, the chairman and vice chairman are elected and the accounts for the last year approved. The agenda for the first meeting is here and for the council meeting here.
The next meeting of Peopleton Parish Council will take place on Wednesday 11 September at 7.30pm in Peopleton Village Hall. The police will be available on TUESDAY 4th MARCH from 11:00am until 1:00pm at THE PANTRY. Please pop into the village shop to raise any issues with the police. This will not be a formal meeting but just an opportunity to chat to individual officers. We hope that three officers will attend.
We can now begin to create the village orchard on Lomax Field. We have 70 trees to plant, so anyone who feels energetic can meet with wellies and shovel at 10 0’clock, Saturday 8 March.
The police engagement team will be available on SATURDAY 8th MARCH from 11:00am until 1:00pm in MONKS WAY next to the entrance to Lomax's Field. Please visit them to raise any issues you may have.
